Simplydesi Ventures Private Limited 

We are here with a motto “To Bring Indian Cottage Industries to Global Platform” We would like to take this opportunity to introduce to you SimplyDesi, an initiative taken by Sahakar Bharti. Sahakar Bharti is an organization focused to enlighten the masses about the benefits of the Co-operative Movement comprising of Self-sustaining and Self-reliant institutions.
It has been observed that the people in our country possess a huge amount of skill and willpower to work, but do not get to reach their potential due to the limitation to tap the available market, in addition to it they also lack proper infrastructure, business education, process orientation or marketing acumen. Hence we have started with a product called SimplyDesi, a brand with the aim of providing a global marketplace for these organizations. SimplyDesi started with an ambition to bring to limelight the products and services being provided by the thousands and lakhs of people who work as a Self-Help Group or a Cooperative Society

Mission “We will be the leader in our business by – maintaining high quality, introducing new and innovative products, reaching every part of India, remaining customer-centric, constantly upgrading our knowledge and skill’’. “To provide consumers superior, wholesome agro-based food and drink brands through which Simply Desi can build a profitable; growth-oriented organization”.

Initiative

At SimplyDesi, we are initially focusing on FMCG Products, Handlooms, Textiles and Handcrafts

  • Partnering with 50,000+ Self Help Groups and Cooperative Societies for products and packaging.
  • Partnering with 5000+ Self Help Groups and Cooperative Societies in the field of Sales.
  • Partnering with 500+ warehousing Self Help Groups and Cooperative Societies in the field of Warehousing and Inventory Management.
Our plan of action with these manufacturing SHG and COS is to invest an amount of about 20% of our profits to their development, in terms of Manufacturing Process, Standardised Methodologies and international level of Licensing, so that their market, which today is mostly restricted to the local level, crosses boundaries of not only the states but also the countries.
Every SHG or COS is unique and is facing a different set of issues. We have a target of investing another sum of 20% of our annual profits on the R&D processes to make these SHGs and COS more efficient and hence increase their productivity. For this, we are in the process of talks with some of the most brilliant minds in our country, hiring consultants from IITs, IISc and other such Indian companies to focus on Innovation and Development.

HOW WE OPERATE

SimplyDesi will start by establishing a professional image and developing a strong customer base across INDIA. We have a very clear motive to help others to help ourselves. We have few Self Help Groups (SHG)/ Vendors and Dealers/ TouchPoints. We will receive categories of products from Vendors. Then products will be supplied to the TouchPoints/ Dealers. All the Quality Check work, Packaging, and Distribution of products will be done by SimplyDesi. Also, Feedback and Training will be given to the vendor of Simply Desi for the improvements and betterment of quality Products.
